Shipping Information
Our goal is to make the ordering and shipping process as seamless and transparent as possible. The following guidelines have significantly reduced shipping issues over the years and apply to all e-commerce turf companies using commercial freight.
Free Shipping Promotion
Minimum Order: Free shipping requires a minimum purchase of 450 sq. ft.
Commercial Addresses Only: Deliveries must be made to a commercial address. Some remote commercial locations may not qualify for free shipping, and we reserve the right to determine what constitutes a commercial address. For clarification, please contact our customer service team.
Exclusions: Residential addresses, including home-based businesses, do not qualify for free shipping.
Delivery Notifications: Carriers typically call 24–48 hours before residential deliveries to schedule a time window, though this is not guaranteed.
Non-Contiguous States: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska. Additional freight charges for these locations are based on the destination ZIP code.
Freight Forwarding: For orders destined for Hawaii, Alaska, or other non-standard locations, we can ship to a preferred freight forwarder on the West Coast (CA, OR, WA) under standard rates. You would be responsible for shipping beyond this point.
Residential Delivery
Flat Rate: Residential deliveries are available for $99.
Minimum Order: A minimum purchase of 300 sq. ft. is required for residential delivery.
Scheduling: Carriers will contact you 24–48 hours in advance to schedule delivery.
Delivery Expectations
Curbside Delivery: Freight companies provide curbside delivery only and do not offload materials from the truck.
Large Trucks: Deliveries are made using 53-foot trailers. If these cannot access your location, be prepared to meet the driver at a safe offloading spot. Drivers are not required to navigate areas they deem unsafe.
Heavy Items: Turf rolls are large and heavy. Arrange for additional assistance to unload them. Drivers may provide limited help, but this is not guaranteed.
Delivery Schedule
No Weekend Deliveries: Deliveries are made on business days only. Weekend and holiday services are unavailable.
Estimated Timeframes: Delivery times vary based on distance from our factory:
Short distances: 1–3 business days
Moderate distances: 3–5 business days
Longer distances: 5–8+ business days (rural areas may take longer)
Important Reminders
Installation Scheduling: Do not schedule an installer until you have received your material. We are not responsible for costs incurred due to delayed installations.
Roll Sizing: Customers are responsible for selecting roll sizes that fit their project. Our team can provide guidance but cannot guarantee fit.
Shipment Damages
While we strive to ensure safe delivery, damages can occasionally occur:
Visible Damage: Inspect the shipment upon arrival. Note any visible damage on the driver’s receipt and take photos for documentation. Contact us immediately to initiate a freight claim.
Concealed Damage: Unroll and inspect your turf promptly for hidden damage. Freight companies require such claims to be reported within a short window of time.
Damaged Core: If the cardboard core is damaged, note it on the driver’s receipt and document it with photos.
Returns and Claims
Before Installation: Do not cut, install, or alter the turf until it has been fully inspected. Altering the product before reporting issues voids any claims or refunds.
Contact Us First: For damaged items, contact us before attempting to return the product. Freight companies require specific packaging for returns, which may be challenging without proper tools or materials.
